Mercedes Benz India strengthened its wide range of performance and dream cars by adding two new models to the AMG lineup. New generation AMG C 63 Coupé and the updated GTR are among the latest offerings by the company in the Indian market. The Mercedes-AMG C 63 Coupé is priced starting at INR 1.33 crore and the Mercedes-AMG GT R is priced at INR 2.48 crore ex-showroom, all India (except Kerala).
AMG C 63 Coupé
The AMG C 63 Coupé is a sporty, sensual and iconic offering from the AMG family for those who are Born Bold. Launched in 2015, the AMG C 63 Coupé was given a facelift in 2018 which was finally replaced by the new generation model. It is the perfect combination of luxury, performance and design.
AMG spec Radiator Grill and the AMG Performance Exhaust System along with the exclusive light weight AMG performance 5-twin spoke forged wheels gives it a bold exterior, while the 12.3-inch display with multiple display styles and plush interiors decked out in sporty trim leave no doubt as to its DNA.
The ride quality is at par with the AMG Ride Control sports suspension and the AMG Rear Axle Locking Differential for that ultimate thrill of going sideways. Compared to the Saloon version, it has a wider track for better handling.
The 4.0-litre V8 biturbo engine coupled to a 9-speed automatic transmission produces 476 hp of maximum power and 650 Nm of torque which can achieve 0-100 Km/h in just 4 seconds.

AMG GT R
The AMG GT R is a thoroughbred sports car fully developed by the racers, for the racers. It possesses raw, untamed power packing all of Mercedes-Benz’s motor-racing knowhow into a sleek package geared solely towards performance. The track-focused but road-legal Mercedes-AMG 2-door coupe was first launched in India in 2017 and since then it has proved its pedigree.
The refreshed model features revised headlamps with three individual reflectors and new DRLs, a new steering, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch infotainment system that's Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatible.
It gets 19"/20" AMG forged-alloy wheels with 5-twin-spoke design and AMG Ceramic high-performance composite brake system along with Carbon-fiber accents on the exterior.
The 4-litre V8 biturbo engine married to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission produces a maximum power output of 585 hp at 6.250 rom and a massive 700 Nm of torque. 0-100 Km/h sprint takes just 3.6 seconds and with a top speed of 318 Km/h.
